Don’t shout it too loud, but the pipeline of opportunities for both piping engineers and designers is steadily improving.

Flexibility in work locations you will consider; is the key to unlocking these opportunities and being able take advantage of some impressive hourly rates.

Hot areas in the UK include the south-east, particularly London which has seen a recent surge in demand and a rise in rates.

The Northwest is also showing signs of improvement with a number of clients predicting a need to increase hiring.

Infrastructure goes international

Friday, April 8th, 2011

With opportunities within the UK Infrastructure sector remaining limited, increasingly; both candidates and clients are considering options further a field.

Internationally, prospects for both clients and candidates; seem far rosier with investment continuing in the Middle East, Far East and Australia.

These markets are predicted to have 8-10% increase in GDP year on year.

Funding of new infrastructure projects is being driven, largely by either the need, to extract natural resources or to support an increase in population.

We are anticipating that we will have an increasing number of exciting opportunities, for those candidates wishing to consider opportunities internationally. Ikram Rabbani 8th April 2011
