Weve all seen the TVs apparently popular day-time slash evening property shows highlighting the desire of the rich and successful to flee the bustling Capital, but how does this compare in the world of Engineering and more appropriately to Process Engineers.
Here at Wilde, were currently witnessing at first hand the relocation of qualified process guys (and girls!), up North to Aberdeen and down South to London, though primarily the latter.
In some cases, demand in these two locations is such that some employers are now paying highly competitive rates, whilst providing training in new skills, in attempt to attract the engineers they require.
Whilst perhaps its still too early to predict the impact this will have on both the Northwest and Midlands job markets; a trend is emerging and were left with a probable dilemma.
Who will work in the places in between?
