Germany still buoyant despite nuclear slowdown

Tuesday, June 7th, 2011

The problems at Fukushima in Japan might have resulted in a decision to put its nuclear new build program on hold but Germany still remains buoyant with upcoming power projects.

Our clients active across the German energy sector advise us that the u-turn on nuclear will simply mean more investment elsewhere to include convention power stations, gas storage and renewable energy technologies.  Hiring has increased significantly in all areas over the last few months and the wide choice of projects available in Germany appears to make it the place to be for aspiring engineers.
