The Client
Our client is an international Pharmaceutical company based in Cambridge. Established over 30 years they are a leading supplier of pain management medicines and have developed pioneering analgesics for the management of chronic pain. The Role
Our client is looking to recruit a contract Project Engineer with equipment installation, commissioning and design experience. Responsible for the effective delivery and implementation of multi discipline projects the Project Engineer will manage a portfolio of projects supporting a range of equipment such as tablet manufacturing equipment (Granulation, Fluid bed driers, compression equipment) and packaging equipment. The Project Engineer will also get involved with developing URS and scopes of work for equipment as defined by the projects.
The Candidate
Educated to Degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline and with a sound knowledge of lean manufacturing / process improvement techniques the successful Project Engineer must be able to demonstrate a track record of managing multiple projects in a regulated environment as well as a full understanding of the project management life cycle including costing and budget management. Experience from within the Pharmaceutical industry would an advantage but applications from project engineers with experience from the food, brewing and fine chemical industries are welcomed.
