BIM Coordinator/Designer; Permanent opportunity in Rail industry

The Role:
Our client requires a BIM Coordinator/Designer on a permanent basis to work within the Rail team in the York office to deliver design outputs including 2D, 3D and 4D BIM outputs for projects. You will liaise with internal and external design team members to resolve problems and ensure integrity of the overall design. You will review and ensure compliance in the drawings, reports, specifications and studies and carry out briefings on CAD, EDMS and BIM standards as appropriate. It is required that you should keep up to date with technology and BIM design developments.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced BIM Coordinator/Designer with a background in Rail, Civil and Building Structures.
You must have a minimum HNC/HND qualification in Civil Engineering.
You will have sound technical skills to produce and control BIM models and CAD outputs.
You must have experience of BIM coordination and preparation of BIM execution plans.
You will have experience in the use and setup of Projectwise.
You should have an understanding of BS1192 and PAS1192.
It is desirable that you will have knowledge of CAD including AutoCAD and Revit with other BIM software (e.g. AECOsim, Civil 3D or Navisworks)
You should have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
