The Role:
The role requires comprehensive understanding and experience of design risk management and compliance with statutory obligations as well as strict adherence to NEC requirements.
Liaise with the contractor’s Lead Designer and their representatives and review the management of CDM by the Designer.
Review the implementation of works information through the design and construction phase.
Provide suitable and timely support in the implementation and administration of safety, health and security compliance with client requirements on the Tideway Project.
Liaise with the Contract Temporary Works Coordinator team taking part in ad hoc audits.
Undertake site visits, assist in the audit and inspection programme and contribute to the weekly and monthly contract reports and metrics.
Oversees administration of the projects H/S file.

The Candidate:
Degree or diploma in relevant sector .
A design/construction background with an understanding of the design stage process being essential.
Senior or associate level experience of working with in a multi discipline, multi consultancy environment in complex projects.
Incorporated Member of the Association of Project Safety (2015) or recognised CDM accredited organisation.
