Excellent, Long Term Contract opportunity for a Civil / Structural Engineer with TEDDS or SuperSTRESS experience to work on Highway and Rail structures; based in our client’s offices in Manchester; Rate £Negotiable
KEY SKILLS; Structural, Civil, Engineer, Highways, Rail, Concrete, Steel, Assessment, Calculations, Design, Stress, TEDDS, Superstress.

The Role:
Production of structural assessment design calculations relating to highway and rail structures.
Preparing contract documents using NEC forms of contract.
General inspections of retaining walls.
Bridge parapet replacement & maintenance schemes.
Feasibility studies for highway and rail structures schemes.
Liaison with clients, contractors and third parties.

The Candidate:
BSc / MSc in Civil Structural Engineering.
You will be comfortable in producing design calculations by hand and using stress software packages i.e. TEDDS / SuperSTRESS.
Experience of dealing with contractor queries general inspections of concrete or steel structures. i.e. retaining walls, water retaining structures, basements, parapets, bridges.
