Civil Structural Engineer - WFH/Knutsford - 12 months - Rate c£50-£55/hr Ltd Co OUTSIDE SCOPE

Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side a company near Knutsford to recruit a Civil Structural Engineer on a LONG term ongoing contract - OUTSIDE SCOPE OF IR35!
As a Civil Structural Engineer your duties/responsibilities will include:
Reporting to the Lead Civil and Structural Engineer, the Civil and Structural Engineer will produce
Civil and Structural design output and will participate in design reviews.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
As a Civil and Structural Engineer, you will:
Develop detailed designs.
Produce and review calculations, drawings and design documentation.
Participate in and contribute to design reviews.
Assess the environmental impact and risks connected to projects.
Analyse survey, mapping and materials testing data with computer modelling software.
Prepare and issue drawings in line with project schedules.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines as and when required.
Attend site surveys when required.
Onsite construction and commissioning support may be required depending on the project.

Minimum Requirements – Education and Experience
Ideally educated to a degree level and either working towards or having achieved Chartered
status, you will have:
Worked in a design and engineering environment, preferably with post graduate
experience in civil and structural engineering industrial projects and a good working
knowledge of design codes and standards relating to civil and structural engineering.
Experience of design delivery with specific experience of groundworks, drainage, steel,
reinforced concrete, masonry designs, foundation design and structural analysis from
concept to detailed delivery.
A good working knowledge and experience of 2D and 3D analytical packages such as, but
not limited to, S-Frame, STAAD, TSD and TEDDS.
Knowledge of construction implementation with site experience and an understanding
of buildability and temporary works.
Working knowledge of Office 365 including One Drive and Sharepoint with
proficient use of Word and Excel.
