Cost Engineer; London – LONG TERM CONTRACT 18 months + Negotiable rate

The Role:
Our client requires a Cost Engineer to provide support to the cost lead in developing processes and systems. You will be cost capturing, monitoring and reporting, ensuring alignment with other project functional processes and systems. As Cost Engineer you will be involved in project forecasting, estimating of accruals and building of Task Orders and Changes (to project scope). You will be accountable for adhering to the process of costing, budgeting and forecasting in a timely and accurate manner. You will monitor the impact of changes and indentify trends and corrective/preventative actions to influence on-budget delivery of the projects objectives.

The Candidate:
You will be a Cost Engineer with advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
You should have experience of working within a large infrastructure design phase project.
You will have knowledge of project management principles, skills and tools.
You will have a degree/diploma in engineering or other relevant field.
