Electrical CAD Designer; c3mth Contract; Rate negotiable

The Role: 
Electrical CAD designer required to produce Electrical design and installation drawings to conveyor systems. 
Duties will include: 
Preparation of Equipment arrangement drawings and part lists 
Production of Block interface drawings, end connection drawings, cable schedules, electrical power and distribution drawings. 
Undertaking supporting cable calculations 
Generation of Electrical design control panel drawings 
Electrical Schematics and terminal arrangements
Supporting calculations and equipment selections
Preparation of phasing drawings indicating the sequence of installation 
Site surveys in support to the above activities 

The Candidate: 
You will be an experienced Electrical CAD Designer with a thorough working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical. 
You will be qualified to ONC/HNC level.
Knowledge of Airline/Handler baggage operational processes (Mechanical Handling exp) or Conveyor systems desirable
You will have a good knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering for medium and low voltage power distribution, instrumentation and related cabling, panel design for motor starters and PLC Systems
Have the ability to produce high quality accurate engineering drawings, including: 
• System design 
• Detailed system design
