Electrical Engineer **  £45/hr ** London ** 6month contract

The Role:
You will be an Electrification Engineer involved with the E&P team revolve around the provision of design solutions for HV
systems, Traction Power systems (ac & dc), Contact systems (Overhead Line and 3rd/4th rail), Trackside
LV systems (e.g. signalling power, points heating, lighting, level crossing installations, REB supplies,
tunnel electrical services), Depot equipment and facilities (e.g. train washers, wheel lathes, CET, train
lifting, sanding) and station equipment (e.g. Lifts and escalators, platform screen doors, travellators,
standby power generation, UPS).
Your main function is to provide DC electrification engineering consultancy services and conductor rail designs in compliance with Railway and international standard requirements to support a NR electrification design team.
You will be involed in all aspects of analytical work associated interpretation, organisation and production
of the required design solutions. 

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Electrical / Electrification Engineer with numerous years within the RAIL industry sector.
You will be an experienced Electrification Engineer / key person regarding designs relating to DC electrification systems and its conductor rail designs as well as other E&P assets.
