Engineering Lead; 6month plus Contract; c£393.0/day; Dungeness - Kent
KEY Skills: Engineering Lead, Nuclear, Construction, Demolition, CDM   

The Role:
Acting as Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of 15 multi-disciplined engineers. 
You will act as the key point of contact with the site(s) Design Authority representative throughout the project lifecycle(s). 

Duties and responsibilities: 
Acting as Principal Design Adviser under CDM (S-424) you will be responsible for developing, owning and delivering design, safety case and commissioning strategies for assigned projects. 
Identifying project functional requirements and stakeholder needs.
Determining the technical resource requirements. 
Managing the engineering design (including change control) process and activities through Gate Reviews and in accordance with design authority standards. 

The Candidate: 
You will have previous experience leading and managing a team.
You will be qualified to degree level in an Engineering Subject and ideally be a Chartered Engineer. A Qualification in project management or membership of the APM is desirable.
You will have significant experience in the Nuclear, Industrial or Construction/Demolition sector. 
You will have significant experience in Engineering Design and a good working knowledge of Technical, Health Safety and Environmental Legislation.
