Health and Safety Site Supervisor 3 month contract: Irvine (Scotland) - rate to c£45 ph; extension to an existing pharmaceutical plant. KEY SKILLS; HSE, Safety, Construction, CDM, COMAH


The Role/Project: 
Extension to pharmaceutical production plant involving enabling works, demolition, civils, structural, process equipment installation , pipework systems, building services/HVAC, electrical, control & instrumentation.
The Client is Principal Contractor under CDM Regulations 2007 and will employ a number of sub-contractors for the various construction work packages.

The Candidate: 
You will have a minimum of 10 years experience of managing/supervising contractors and construction works including significant experience of construction within pharmaceutical and chemical plant environments.
You will have experience of COMAH sites and hazardous area requirements.
Experience in a health and safety role on construction sites.
Experience and high level of awareness of CDM 2007 including experience of Principal Contractor duties.
You will be qualified to HNC or above. 
RMAPS (Registered Member Association of Project Safety) or MIOSH desirable. 
Health and safety qualification such as NEBOSH Construction Certificate, Construction Skills SMSTS, Health and Safety Diploma or other recognised safety training to equivalent level.
Construction Skills CSCS competency card.
