Highways Safety Inspector – Manchester - £Neg  –  6month plus – Contract

Our Client is looking for an experienced Highways Safety Inspector to assess the existing highways, major roads and B roads around Manchester for defects and to log necessary repairs.

The Role:
Inspecting the highway for defects in accordance with highway inspection polices.
Identifying appropriate types of repairs for highway defects.
Meeting with residents/councillors regarding highway defect issues.
Responding to written public/councillor highway defect queries/complaints.
Undertaking enforcement of breaches of the Highways Act.

The Candidate:
You will be qualifies to a HNC level minimum.
You will have 5 Years Highways Drainage Experience.
You will have good IT Skills, mainly Excel & Word.
You will be comfortable walking long distances.
