Mechanical Engineer: 5mth plus Contract; £250 Per Day Umbrella. South East
KEY Skills: Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, Assembly, Science and Technology Facilities Laboratories/RAL Space, IPAF 3A (Scissor lift) and 3B (Mobile Boom) license,  Crane certification,
BPSS with Basic Disclosure (issued by Disclosure & Barring Service or Disclosure Scotland)

The Role:
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for initial provision and through life support of Mechanical systems. The position provides through life equipment support to various Project Teams.

Duties will include:
Assembly of mechanical systems (e.g. rail platforms, mounting assemblies) following assembly procedures
Installation of components (e.g. compressors, Helium and water lines, rails, mounting pads for support of panelling) in support of Vacuum chamber systems in accordance with mechanical drawings or installation procedures
Assembly of jigs and fixtures as required to support the operations of the group

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years experience.
You will need experience of:
IPAF 3A (Scissor lift) and 3B (Mobile Boom) license
Crane certification
Mobile scaffold tower certification
Assembly of mechanical systems Installation of systems Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) background following an Indentured Apprenticeship Candidates
