The Role:
Our client are looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to work on a contract basis based in Leicester for an initial period of 12months.

Your duties may include:
Design Schemes
Design Proposal Drawings
Detail Drawings
General Assemblies
Functional Specifications/ Functional Requirements Documents
Technical Reports and Studies
Design Justification Reports

Be involved - Identify or respond to task variations through formal change control.
Take responsibility for delivery of multi-discipline work package to programme, budget and required quality.
Be able to manage several teams of Designers and Engineers and undertake checking of mechanical deliverables.
Experience of working knowledge/experience in applying relevant EH&S issues as required by legislation (and applicable Directives).
Have presented at Designers Risk Assessments / Design Reviews and ideally at HAZOP studies.
Have a good knowledge of fabrication techniques,  manufacturing accuracy and have some 'hands on' experience.
Knowledge of Geometric tolerances, weld symbols, limits and fits, surface finish. (Advantageous)

The Candidate:
You will be a Mechanical Engineer ideally with a Nuclear background.
You will be qualified to HNC / HND or Degree level.
You will have at least 5 + years experience within design environment.
You will want to work for the best agent in the country - me.
You will have a working knowledge of Autocad or Inventor
