The Role:
Mechanical Site Engineer required to join a team based at Aldermaston, Berkshire - to undertake project-based work from conception through to implementation and final close out. 

Duties and responsibilities will include: 
Undertaking of site surveys, identifying work scopes and the production of specifications.
The production of task documentation to include Method Statements, Risk Assessments & Test Procedures.
You will ensure compliance with the requirements of the clients Project Safety Plan. 
You will be responsible for ensuring that construction work is undertaken to specification by the implementation of safe working methods. 
You will ensure that contractors and their supervisors are competent to undertake their respective roles and ensure they take positive action to maintain safety, health and environmental arrangements to the highest possible standards. 
You will assist with the production and delivery of documentation for construction work-packs. 
Ensure personnel are appropriately briefed to safely undertake the duties within their control. 
Ensure that the construction work is supervised, checked and accepted in accordance with the relevant specifications, drawings and standards of workmanship. 
You will liaise with designers and / or technical experts. 

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Mechanical Site Engineer or Mechanical Project Engineer with construction/site operations experience. 
You will be qualified to HND/HNC level in an appropriate mechanical engineering discipline and have basic project management skills and experience of interfacing with cross-functional personnel.   
The ability to produce basic technical drawings using CAD is desirable.
