Package Managers; Min 12 Months+ Contract; Plymouth – HMNB Davenport; Rate: c£40.0/ hour Ltd (possible opportunity for permanent roles)

The Role:
Babcock Marine require 9 x Package Managers to assist in the delivery of specific and discreet project packages as part of on-going projects based at HMNB Davenport, Plymouth.
The following positions are open to be filled ASAP;
Package Manager (Dock & Cradle) 
Package Manager (Buildings & Berthing Systems) 
Package Manager (Submarine & Reactor Services) 
Package Manager (Site Establishment) 
Package Manager (Permitted Developments) 
Package Manager (Infrastructure Improvements) 
Package Manager (Construction Services) 
Package Manager (Buildings Demolition)

Duties will involve:
The successful Package Managers will;
·Manage and control delivery of distinct package(s) of work as defined by the Project Manager, to ensure the scope of work definition will satisfy the project / package requirements
·Manage development of plans, schedules and control of work information for defined packages, integrating with the wider project(s)
·Develop, monitor, forecast and report against budget
·Undertake stakeholder management in relation to defined tasks
·Ensure all works are planned and managed in a safe and appropriate manner.

The Candidate: 
You will have demonstrable experience and knowledge of engineering works, for example; civil works, mechanical or electrical systems/services, construction management and/or building demolition, preferably within a marine led environment.
You must have at least two years’ experience working in a managerial capacity, with robust evidence of managing teams and large-scale infrastructure projects.
Preferentially, the candidate will be degree-qualified in an engineering related discipline, or have a minimum of an HND (note an HND or equivalent level would need to be justified by a greater level of experience.
A project management qualification or accreditation would be seen as beneficial.
