Piping CAD / BIM Technician - Ellesmere Port - £28-£40/hr - Contract 6months+
Key Words/Skills: Piping, CAD, BIM, 2D, 3D, Autocad, Autoplant, Petrochemical, Process Engineering.

The Role:
Our client is an international Energy & Environment Consultancy based in Ellesmere Port.
They are looking to recruit a Piping CAD / BIM Technician to work on an initial 6 month contract based in Cheshire.

As a CAD / BIM Technician you will be expected to;
Develop final CAD versions of P&ID’s from preliminary issue prepared by process engineers. The final version would reflect company standards regarding draughting technique and symbology.
Have a comprehensive understanding of the requirements of Building Information Modelling (BIM) when applied to P&ID’s and, if possible, a wider understanding when applied to engineering design.
Considerable experience is an essential requirement along with complete familiarity with the software package we currently utilise, this being; Autocad 2D/3D.
Petrochemical / Process Engineering / Fuel Storage / Fuel Distribution experience would be ADVANTAGEOUS!

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced  CAD / BIM Technician / Designer ideally with BIM knowledge.
You will be qualified to HNC / HND level or have the technical expertise.
You should have good communication and people skills.
