Planning Engineer – Rail; 3month contract £350.00 / day, Immediate Start – Crossrail London
KEY SKILLS: Planning Engineer, P6, Construction, Civil Engineering

The Role:
Planning Engineer required to monitor progress of activities in accordance with agreed programme.
To develop programme to ensure sufficient detail is captured to ensure effective programme monitoring, reporting, delay assessment and mitigation planning.

Duties Will Include:
Preparation and on-going development of contract programme.
Monitoring the progress of the works from design and procurement through to construction and final hand over.
Assisting in the co-ordination of all possessions; including the works to be carried out within each possession.
Preparation of weekly and monthly programmes and reports.
Planning and co-ordination of sub-contractors.
Liaising with the Project Engineering Manager on matters of design approval in relation of methods, resources and co-ordination and ensure that all relevant parties are made aware of the programme requirements at all phases of the work.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced planning engineer with experience of P6 Primavera software.
In addition, the following experience is essential:
Health and safety knowledge.
Experience of multi discipline construction programmes with significant experience in civil engineering.
Use of MSP / Primavera for programme management.
Site experience.
Knowledge of possession management is desirable.

You must be able to commence on the contract on Tuesday 29th August 2017
