The Role:
Our client is a major building services consultancy and they are looking to recruit a Principal Engineer (mechanical / HVAC) to be based in Croydon.
Your duties will include:
Managing multiple projects in a clear, concise, coordinated manner meeting project deadlines and financial restraints.
You will be the client’s main point of technical contact.
Working within a mechanical discipline team providing design and technical advice.
Preparing a detailed design programme.
You will provide information and agree input into a cost to complete schedule.
Monitor your time weekly against the agreed costs.
Attending meetings to represent technical disciplines.
Supervising the work of others in the consultancy.
Produce detailed performance specification, room data sheets and equipment schedules.
Produce combined MEP residual risk reports.
Attending sites and carrying out appropriate site inspections / surveys and compiling the relevant reports.

The Candidate:
You will already be a Senior Engineer or Principal Engineer with vast experience working within a building services consultancy.
You should have a mechanical / HVAC / public health background.
Ideally degree / Chartered / CIBSE.
You will have experience of leading multi disciplined design teams, interaction with clients & stakeholders.
You will be fully conversant with Microsoft and be able to produce reports & presentations.
