Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side BNM in order to recruit a Procurement Eng to work on a 12 month contract based at Rosyth Scotland.
As a Procurement Eng your duties and responsibilities will include:
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain the Category Specialist will have responsibility for Value Plan strategy execution across Projects. Objectives for this role will include:
Establishing Business Unit requirements, including those driven by the future bid pipeline.
Delivering tangible, bottom-line benefits to the Division.
Supporting the delivery of Business Unit strategies through the rigorous management of contract and supplier performance.

Responsibilities
Category Management.
Manages category strategies that maximise value for the business based on understanding of business needs and supply market potential.
Execution of the category strategy, including negotiating and contracting with suppliers, evaluating on-going contract and supplier performance and measuring contract compliance.

Sourcing
Captures specific business requirements and builds into ITT or RFI documents.
Executes sourcing activity using strategic sourcing methodologies in order to put fit-for-purpose supply contracts in place.
Accountable for the implementation of pan-divisional contracts so that they can be used in practice by the business units.
Where appropriate, supports major bid activity where there is a significant category requirement.

Supply Management
Segmenting and managing suppliers within the category.
Executing the appropriate strategies to incentivise and engage suppliers and to measure and incentivise their performance.
Managing appropriate supplier governance, fed by relevant data and attended by empowered representatives of both organisations.

Key Success Criteria
Value delivery in line with agreed targets for the category.
Supplier performance that meets operational requirements of the Business Units.
Ensuring a strong health, safety and environmental ethos is applied throughout the supply chain;
Excellent cross functional stakeholder relationships.

Candidate:
You will have worked in Procurement / Supply Chain.
Ideally qualified MCIPS.
