Project Manager – Defence/Security: 16 Months+ Contract; Porton Down; Rate c£425.0/day (Umbrella)

Dstl are looking for two project managers who must have experience of working on sensitive technical projects within the defence and security context. Projects to be delivered will fall under the following programmes; Information Systems, Future Sensing and Situational Awareness, Cyber Systems, Contested Electromagnetic Environment, and Space.
Duties will involve:
Designing, planning, and implementing projects which deliver the desired outputs, set out in the Project Mandate.
Defining the projects’ governance framework including monitoring and control regime, stakeholder engagement, risk and issue management, quality and assurance, information management, resource management and procurement planning.
Identifying, managing and mitigating the project risks (technical, financial, commercial, health
and safety, environmental, security).
MUST have current Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance. We will not accept applications without.
Have recent experience working in the defence and/or security sectors (i.e. MoD, Dstl etc)
Be able to demonstrate the following criterion in their CV;
·Recent experience in a Project Management role
·Excellent communication and people skills
·Knowledge of budgeting, resource allocation and financial Management
·Risk Management experience
·Managing customer relationships
·High level of competence in Microsoft Project 2010, SharePoint and Excel software.
