Project Manager - WFH / Milton Keynes - Duration 7 months - Rate c£500/day umb.

Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side Network Rail in order to recruit a Project Manager on a 7 month contracts WFH & Milton Keynes.
As a Project Manager your responsibilities and duties will include:
Working on a safety improvement framework for Network Rail. Looking at communications, leadership skills, changing culture and how to make people safe when working with machinery and trains. There are around x 6 work schemes. Working with managers to drive this forward.

Main Duties and Responsibilities: Work with key, senior, stakeholders to manage the development and deployment of all aspects of the project assigned. Identify and mitigate potential risks for delivery of products Operate as a full member of the team; supporting the Programme Manager and other team members as directed. Project Manage all aspects of specific work packages Working with stakeholders to ensure business change requirements are consulted, agreed, communicated and implemented in line with the Managing Successful Programmes methodology.
Completion of the high-level plan through to Go Live and BAU handover. Experience in the delivery of projects; with emphasis on the management of suppliers and stakeholders. Experience of governance and risk control frameworks Good planning and organisational skills Strong leadership; people and communications skills Possess strong analytical skills with a proven ability to persuade and influence senior decision-making

To manage day-to-day the delivery of a key safety improvement programme. This will necessitate engagement and support for six senior workstream leads and the ability to represent the programme, its progress and it aims with senior stakeholders. This will require professional project management and the ability to guide and help stakeholders understand the best means to deliver improvements into Network Rail and with and for the Technical Authority.

Candidate:
You will be an experienced Project Manager.
Network Rail experience essential.
HNC / HND.
