Requirements Co-Ordinator - Drigg - Duration 12 months - Rate c£60/hr umbrella

Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side LLWR in order to recruit a Requirements Co-Ordinator to work on a 12 month contract at Drigg CA19 1XP.
As a Requirements Co-Ordinator your responsibilities and duties will include:
• Review existing LLWR project and engineering arrangements for scope and requirements management, and specifications to identify current state;
• Review LLWR project LFE to identify recurring issues and improvement themes;
• Review and collate relevant good practice on requirements management;
• Develop end-to end process skeleton (future state) to be used as the basis for the process development work (this will be done as part of a business improvement rapid improvement event);
• Provide support to the Rapid Improvement Event (RIE) process, and to the RIE Lead (LLWR Mechanical Responsible Engineer); and,
• Lead the development of outputs resulting from the RIE (including completion of the Initial Impact Assessment form and all Management of Change documentation, production of updated process documents, training documents and implementation plans).

The ASW will be needed to attend all meetings (virtually or on site as per constraints above) necessary to achieve the scope of work. The ASW will work with the LLWR project, task delivery, business improvement and engineering teams.

Essential skills:
• Requirements Management experience (at least 2 years) developing products and systems through all or some of the following: Requirements Capture; Analysis; Architecture; Modelling; Design & Development; Integration; and Verification and Validation;
• Knowledge of the Verification and Validation Model;
• Knowledge of project and design lifecycle requirements, including scope development, change management, quality management, construction, commissioning and handover;
• Experience in developing specifications to support project, task and design delivery;
• Experience in planning, estimating and defining engineering tasks and documenting them in a plan;
• Experience in management of technical dependencies, assumptions, exclusions, risks and opportunities;
• Able to develop processes and tools to support an integrated requirements management approach;
• Skilled in capturing, reviewing, managing change to system and software requirements;
• Awareness and understanding of Requirements Management Systems, e.g. IBM Rational DOORS;
• Demonstrable experience in stakeholder management forming cooperative relationships between different parties on a strategical and tactical level, and ensuring efficient collaboration between all parties;
• Proven ability to manage and prioritise own workload against multiple stakeholders and competing priorities;
• Can demonstrate having the ability to engage and impact on others and work effectively as part of a wider team; 
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Desirable:
• Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 2:2) in an Engineering, Science or equivalent based subject.

Candidate:
You will be an experienced Engineer.
5-10 years experience.
