Job Title: Revit Technician
Location: Birmingham
Job Type: Contract
Rate: £Neg
Duration: 6 - 12 months

The Role: 
Revit Technician (Building Structures)
Produce REVIT / CAD structural drawings, General Arrangement, Reinforced concrete, Structural Steelwork General Arrangements along with relevant details.
Work on shared REVIT models within an office and across different offices.
Liaise with the main contractor, the client and other design team members during the design process.
Issue structural drawings to internet based document control systems compliant with project protocols and with WSP CAD standards and protocols.
Co-ordination of structural drawings with other design team members; Architects, Building Services and External Works consultants etc.
Ensure compliance to the appropriate project specifications, design and health and safety standards as required.

The Candidate:
Educated to HNC/HND level or equivalent 
Highly experienced in the use of AutoCAD and Revit in the preparation of drawings, including reinforced concrete and structural steelwork detailing to the required office standards. 
Ability to work closely with engineers from other disciplines and other construction professionals to optimise and develop designs. 
Good technical writing skills, and good interpersonal skills required. 
Ability to work as part of a small delivery team and with supervision for delivery of packages of work. 
Ability to actively manage own time and assist in managing junior staff in order to deliver the 
required workload.
