Risk Manager - Corsham/HOME WORKING - Rate £334/day - Contract expected to be 11 months

Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working to recruit a Risk Manager to work for the MOD at Corsham on a contract basis. (Home working presently)
As a Risk Manager your responsibilities and duties will include:
Provide strategic direction to the work packages on behalf of the Directors (theme owners).
Act as a central point of contact for the theme for external parties who wish to engage.
Oversee central activity of the theme and establish opportunities for decisions and tasks to be managed across the project.
Establishing the Project Management approach to PD Professionalisation both as a part of the Service. Delivery and Operations (SDO) Reset group and as the lead body for the theme.
Managing the allocation and recruitment of resources for all work packages.
Capturing, managing and reporting overarching measures of success, risks, costs and other metrics to theme owners and Boards.
Communicating messages on purpose and opportunities for involvement across all staff.
Provision of effective and efficient advice on PD Risks and Issues to Project/ work package Managers.
Establish a timetable of regular risk and issue reviews with key stakeholders.
Responsible for facilitating the identification, analysis and monitoring of PD Risks and Issues.
Produce periodic and ad-hoc PD Risk and Issues reports to a standard template.
Undertake qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, with the work package leads.
Maintain the Risk & Issues register for the PDP theme.
Enacting the Risk Management strategy through effective use of risk processes and procedures in accordance with Departmental policy and the complexity of the change initiative, as directed by the PDP theme lead.
You will be an experienced Risk Manager.
You should have ideally worked for the MOD on previous assignments.
You will hold PRINCE2 qualification.
APM Project Fundamentals.
You will ideally be SC Cleared.
