Senior Project Planner: 6 Months+ Contract; Bristol; Rate £50.0/hour Ltd
KEY Skills: Primavera P6, ITAR, Babcock Marine, SC clearance
MUST BE A BRITISH-BORN AND SOLE BRITISH NATIONAL DUE TO REQUIREMENT TO WORK UNDER ITAR REGULATIONS
Babcock are charged with delivery of design, and programme support to the entirety of the in-service submarine fleet across all classes of vessels.
From feasibility analyses of engineering problems and solutions, to fully incorporated design changes Babcock support the entire design lifecycle. They are the key component ensuring that the nation’s nuclear submarines are available and ensure the nuclear deterrent is always maintained.
Babcock is currently recruiting within the Business Operations Support Team in Keynsham and require a Senior Project Planner for Babcock Marine working within ITAR regulations.
Duties will involve:
A Senior Project Planner is required to join the Business Operations Support team at the Keynsham site. Reporting to the Lead Project Planner and supporting various Project Teams, the incumbent will play a key role in the successful delivery of outputs to time, cost & quality targets for the Submarine Support Management Group (SSMG).
You will have proven experience as a project planner / scheduler as well as the following;
·Current SC clearance – you will not be considered without active SC
·Must be British-born due to the project(s) being within ITAR
·Extensive knowledge of and adept in the use of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
·Preferably degree-qualified (or HND/HNC with relevant experience)
·Preferably hold a Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2 or APM.
