The Role:
Balfour Beatty’s Highways business unit have recently signed a £124m, four-year programme of works to include the planning, design and construction of nine vital road schemes in Wokingham, as well as four strategic development roads providing access to 12,000 new housing units in the region. These vital works aim to alleviate congestion, enhance accessibility and deliver the infrastructure required to support the successful future of Wokingham Borough.
In support of this programme, they are looking a Section Engineer to start ASAP.

Duties will involve:
The undertaking of site engineering control and implementation of works on site, including monitoring and reporting of progress. Data collection through on-site records (diary, photographs, file notes), as well as monitoring of budget (including labour and plant in use in section).

The Candidate: 
Ideally, you’ll possess the following attributes;
At least three years’ experience as a construction site engineer; previous structures work is a MUST, along with  earthworks, bridges and highways experience which is also essential.
Current driving licence
Valid CSCS card
Able to work unsociable hours including night shifts
Understanding of the Permit to Dig system
Be experienced in setting out techniques and the ability to use level & EDM as well as GPS.
