Senior Bridge Engineer: exciting opportunity to join UK Bridges & Civil Structures team in London on a permanent basis

The Role:
Our client requires a high calibre Senior Bridge Engineer to join the UK Bridges & Civil Structures team in London, leading and managing the delivery of projects to meet time, quality, budgetary and health and safety targets. You will build relationships with clients on projects, signing off designs and ensuring compliance in reports and drawings. Liaising with the Project Director and Project Manager, you will provide input, lead by example and work in collaboration with other disciplines in this client focussed role.

The Candidate:
You will be a Senior Bridge Engineer with proven technical ability in the design and assessment of bridges and civil structures.
You must hold a MEng/MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering.
You should be Chartered or working towards Chartership.
You should be able to lead small design teams to deliver detailed designs of structures.
You will have experience of working on Highways England schemes.
You should have good working knowledge of DMRB and Eurocodes.
You will have knowledge of commercial aspects of projects.
You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, good motivation and people management.
