Senior Highways Technician – excellent contract opportunity in East Midlands

The Role:
Our client requires a Senior Highways Technician to undertake design and contract preparation of highways engineering schemes, ranging from minor works to assisting with the delivery of major bypasses. The role will be predominantly office based but will involve site visits and meetings with the client and other designers. You will undertake the design of major highway engineering projects using AutoCAD, Civils 3D, MX and other specialist software. 

The Candidate:
You must be a Highways Technician with experience in the design of large highways engineering projects.
You will be computer literate with experience of AutoCAD.
Knowledge of MX, Civils 3D or BIM is desirable.
You should have knowledge of highway design standards, Health and Safety legislation and NRSWA.
