Senior Quantity Surveyor – LLWR Drigg – LONG TERM 12 months+ Contract

The Role:
Our client LLWR requires a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support procurement activities in Drigg, Cumbria. You will assist with post contract award activates including managing the contract scope, contract administration, payment and change control. You will prepare tender documents as required by procurement choice (including bills of quantities). The role will involve preparing regular management reports, estimates, cost plans and standard documentation. You will be required to advise on contract strategy/procurement, draft contract terms, take part in contract reviews and measure performance against key performance indicators.

The Candidate:
You must be a Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience of NEC3 Contract Management.
You will have a BSc in Quantity Surveying and/or a proven track record.
You should have experience of managing sub-contractors under contracts.
You will be familiar with contract preparation, procurement procedures and contract administration.
You must have excellent report writing skills.
You will have experience of Contract Management within the nuclear industry.
You should have practical knowledge and experience of nec3 contracts for services and goods.
You may have line management experience.
You should be familiar with the lifetime plan process and NDA procedures including change control and sanctioning.
You will hold a Full driving licence.
