Street Lighting Design Engineer - 3 Months+ Contract - South Manchester - Rate c£27.0/hour

The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a Street Lighting Design Engineer to work for an established company in South Manchester, working on projects Country wide.  Some travel may be expected.

Duties will involve:
To propose scheme options and prepare street lighting designs and design briefs for inception through to detailed design to permit implementation on a County wide basis.
Approve street lighting designs proposed by consultants on a County wide basis.
To prepare estimates, monitor and review project costs to ensure completion with agreed budgets. Project costs being works and fees on internal and external consultants.
To provide technical input and project support throughout construction period.
To liaise with project client, project team, internal/external consultants and general public.
To prepare reports as required.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Street Lighting Design Engineer.
You will have at least 5 years design experience.
You will be familiar with Amtech & Pro Design software.
