Long term contract for a recently Chartered Structural Engineer, working for an Award winning civil structural consultancy, who is one of the UK’s leading independent Consulting Engineers.

Projects vary from university buildings to the refurbishment and over-cladding of high rise housing and include hospitals, schools, new high rise apartments, affordable housing and bespoke luxury housing. The candidate can be expected to work on small challenging projects and major projects up to £60m in value

The Role:
Preparation of design calculations
Structural Surveys of commercial and domestic dwellings
Checking of Building Regulations
Co-ordination of staff and project activities
Control of suppliers and sub-contractors
Provide support, training and guidance to other staff

The Candidate:
Experience in design of civil and structural engineering projects, typically with at least 5 years post chartered experience.
This is an ideal position for an engineer who wants more control and responsibility within a variety of types of projects.
