Supply Chain Engineer - Bristol - Contract 6 months - Rate £30-£45/hr

Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working alongside Babcock Naval Marine in order to recruit a SUPPLY CHAIN ENGINEER to work on a contract basis initially for 6 months based in Devonport House Bristol.
The SUPPLY CHAIN ENGINEER will Support and Test Equipment Lead to work within their Marine sector’s Integrated Logistic Support team.
The primary focus of the role will be the Support and Test Equipment discipline including production and maintenance of associated ILS documentation and deliverables.
The SUPPLY CHAIN ENGINEER will have dealt with the day-to-day activities essential to ensuring the necessary S&TE is available to the right people at the right place and at the right time.
Identification and Management of risks for S&TE and associated disciplines will be an important part of the role.
As the SUPPLY CHAIN ENGINEER you will have experience of;
Defence Logistics Framework (DLF) and Defence Standard 00-600, or have similar experience of Supportability / ILS support in an aligned Industry.
You will have knowledge and experience with Support & Test Equipment processes, having developed and ideally implemented bespoke ILS Plans in-line with customer and programme requirements, Reporting on ILS milestones and work streams to the customer and Project management team.
Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project.
You must also be able to disseminate key ILS information from any type of document; having good report writing and communication skills.
