Systems Engineer – Requirements Management – 6 month contract - to £500.00 / day – Derby
KEY SKILLS: Requirements Management, Project Life Cycle, Validation, Design Assurance

The Role:
Systems Engineer (Requirements Management) required to lead the requirements management and validation / verification activities within a production & capability contract to enable the successful delivery of a safe and fit for purpose manufacturing facility and ensuring integration with site manufacturing engineering through this process.

Duties Will Include:
Requirements management including resolution of conflicts in requirements.
You will be responsible for setting up high-level direction to develop innovative solutions to efficiently utilise DOORS.  
Management and utilising DOORS.
Change Control Management for the requirements / change control.
Leading and conducting verification & validation of requirements (design V&V and construction V&V).
Stakeholder interface management.
Be the champion within the Requirements Engineering Team, ensuring the process owners are supported in delivering their works in accordance with the relevant requirements - this will include running workshops to disseminate current best practice.
Lead the requirements management and V&V activities within MF2B and will provide technical direction and support to the Programme Engineering Team in compliance and assurance matters on the projects and leads the implementation of best practices across the team including active collaboration with Next Generation.
Act as a mentor and a role model for the team of Requirements Engineers.
Status reporting to the Project & Programme Executive.
Able to make good decision based on limited information.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Systems Engineer – Requirements Manager with the experience to lead the requirements management and validation / verification activities within a production & capability contract to enable the successful delivery of a safe and fit for purpose manufacturing facility and to ensure integration with site manufacturing engineering through this process.
You will be educated to degree level preferably in an engineering discipline.
You will have extensive work experience and knowledge of project life cycle management, requirements engineering & management, design assurance and validation & verification engineering.
