Systems Engineer - Fareham - Duration 15months - Rate c£440/day umbrella.

Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side DSTL / MOD in order to recruit a Systems Engineer to work on a 15 month contract in Fareham.
As a Systems Engineer your duties and responsibilities will include:
The Distributed Space Systems Engineer will work as part of an Agile team taking a lead role in guiding the building and management of the distributed Space system. The candidate must have significant experience with distributed Space/Ground system.
The Dstl Space Programme Missions Team provides high quality broad based subject matter expertise to UK MOD Space Missions and Space Capability Development. The role requires the holder to provide technical leadership, supporting technical project and programme management teams for the full space mission lifecycle.
They will be expected to support the delivery of multiple space capability prospective products, from full satellite solution delivery to payload unit delivery, and ground segment capability development and operation. They will be expected to have sufficient domain knowledge to support system and subsystem level technical development, and product development oversight.
They should also have focused expertise on specific satellite and ground segment subsystems, including AOCS, Payload Processing and Integration, Communication (civil & military) TT&C, Data Handling, Software (OBSW/EGSE), Thermal, Electrical Power, Structural and Operations, with a solid working knowledge of complementary domains and subsystems.
