Further disappointment in the Process and Oil & Gas sectors as Energy Industry groups postpone $200bn in projects.
The top energy groups have announced that they have shelved plans for up to $200bn of projects which can only further increase the challenge that those engineers involved in this sector have in securing future contract work, and add further insecurity to those in work and facing potential redundancy.
According to an article in the FT 27/7/15, Rystad Energy, a Norwegian Research Consultancy has found that in May $118bn of projects have been put on hold.
