Overview: Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side NDA Sellafield in order to recruit a Process Engineer to work on a LONG term 12month contract at Albion Square Whitehaven. As a Process Engineer your duties and responsibilities will include: Job profile: The Plant Facing Design Office (PFDO) is the organisation within SL that provides professional design support to the Plant Engineering community. Within the PFDO is the Task Delivery Design team that focuses on schedule driven tasks to support facilities across Sellafield. The site based PFDO / Task Delivery Process design team have a requirement for A Senior Process Engineers to participate in a team that provides a design service to deliver fit for purpose, engineering solutions. This role is for a Senior Process Engineers with at least 5 years experience who will need to be able to fulfil the requirements of SQEP role: SR0754 ‘Process Designer’. The Task Delivery Process design team are predominately based in Albion Square, Whitehaven but there is also the potential for work from Hinton House in Risley, with some homeworking There will be requirements to visit Sellafield site occasionally for plant walkdowns. This role requires working collaboratively with the multidiscipline design team, system engineers and task managers to deliver fit for purpose solutions. For this role the applicant should also have the skills and knowledge to be able to lead tasks and support development of other junior designers and be able to check their work. A key aspect of this role is the ability to work with the system engineer and other plant representatives to effectively define the scope of the problem and then develop a pragmatic process design solution while being responsive to changing priorities and often challenging timescales. It is expected that the role holder will have the ability / experience to produce a complete Process design response including for example (but not limited to) Basis of Design, calculations and substantiation documentation when required. Deliverables: Design support to the scoping of tasks, typically comprising: Review of Task Traveller form, attendance at walkdowns, scoping and planning meetings. Development of optioneering documents/concept design. Completion of detailed design information, such as: Production of Basis of Designs, calculations, proposal EFDs, datasheets. Participation in SDDR’s, MDDR’s, HAZOP’s etc. Engagement with Design Capability design engineers / SMEs for specialist support. Assisting in the preparation of design substantiation in the form of NFR’s, and DAR’s support SSC’s identified within new or modified safety cases, and to support the substantiation through MSC. Support installation, commissioning and close out of tasks, through engagement with plant, EFDs updates etc. Candidate: You will be an experienced Process Engineer. Nuclear experience. Principal Mechanical Engineer

Principal Mechanical Engineer - Warrington - 12 months - Rate c£56/hr Umb Key words/skills: Mechanical, Engineer, Nuclear, Senior, Principal, BPSS Overview: Wilde Recruitment are working along side Balfour Beatty to recruit a Principal Mechanical Engineer to work on a 12 month contract. As a Principal Mechanical Engineer your duties and responsibilities will include: The BEP Joint Venture project will safely design and deliver a Plant and the works in accordance with the requirements of the contract to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants, carried out in line with the Employer’s needs and to the satisfaction of stakeholders in the Box Encapsulation Project (BEP). The role reports to the Engineering Management team. Support the Mechanical Discipline Lead Engineer with assurance activities within detail design delivery including preparing for and chairing System Assist and Readiness Reviews, reviewing design packages prior to issue for review with the Employer (Sellafield Limited), help in assessing comments and ensuring the lessons learnt are fed-back and used by the project’s engineers and designers. Extend and adopt a pragmatic approach across the Area Teams to the mechanical engineering detail design, standardisation of designs, consistency and quality in the deliverables and the extension into purchasing of the plant and equipment. Support Area Lead Engineers in mechanical delivery and vendor support to packages of work, liaise with the Construction and Commissioning teams to ensure correct installation and set to work. To provide advice and guidance to the Area Team’s Mechanical Lead Engineers on application and compliance with relevant legal requirements, Sellafield Limited standards, European and British Standards, non-European standards and project procedures. To coordinate the production of common discipline Technical Specifications across all areas and to liaise with the Sellafield Limited Intelligent Customer (IC) to ensure the design aligns with the project’s “Fit for Purpose” design philosophy and the ICs’ expectations. Candidate: Have 15yrs (preferable) demonstrable experience in delivering in a similar role/environment, with recent relevant exposure to work in the nuclear industry. Demonstrable experience in the leadership and direction of others to deliver engineering. Ability to coordinate and carry out competency assessment of engineers and designers. A self-starter with good communication, analytical and team working skills. Experience in the checking and approval of engineering design deliverables, i.e. technical specifications and reports. Hold a minimum HND or equivalent. Ideally will hold a Degree and be a Chartered Engineer, or have 20 years’ experience in the field.
