Highways England announce specialists for £290m SW highways work
Highways England has awarded 21 specialist contractors and suppliers packages on its asset delivery contract in the South West.
Highways England’s new delivery arrangements cover a host of works including general civil engineering, specialist drainage and technology. It is understood that the framework, which begins on 1 July will run for up to four years.
Under asset delivery arrangements, Highways England will now take direct responsibility for managing both routine maintenance and the delivery of capital renewal and improvement schemes.
