Excellent, Long Term Contract opportunity for 3D Surveyor to create 3D BIM Models for Rail projects; based in our clients offices in Newport.

The Role:
The candidate will work out of the client’s Newport office and be fully embedded within the client team as Survey Engineer (CAD). The main aim would be to support the Engineering Data Management team with the set-up and delivery of a virtual reality 3D model.  Supply a full range of surveys including; Topographical, Rail, Monitoring, Elevations, Laser Scanning and GNSS Networks. Full processing of survey data for provision of CAD deliverables. Verification/Validation of Contractor survey reports and specifications for acceptance. Implementation of Survey Strategy 

The Candidate:
Applicants must have experience in the field of Rail Survey and Laser Scanning. 
You will have knowledge and experience in the use of Survey instrumentation and processing Survey Data. 
Production of 3D Models from laser scan data. 
Experience with Point Cloud Data or Laser Scanning experience. 
Experience of using Bentley Micro Station.
