Architectural and Landscape Works Supervisor

6 month+ Contract (16-24 Hours/week) for a Architectural and Landscape Works Supervisor to work on East, Central, and West Main Works Contracts across the Thames Tideway Project; London; c£45- £53/hour
KEY Skills: public realm, landscaping, inspections, defects management, QA


The Role:
The Architectural and Landscape Works Supervisor shall be responsible for observing workmanship, identifying quality control/assurance issues, observing and undertaking tests and inspections and undertaking defects management specifically with regards to architectural works, public realm, buildings, landscaped areas.  The Architectural Works Supervisor’s inspections shall be undertaken both on and off site (for mock-ups, inspections of samples, nursery visits etc). The sites include works in and around the river Thames, experience in marine or tidal environments preferred.

The Candidate: 
Suitable Engineering education (BSc, HND/HNC, NVQ)
The Architectural and Landscape Works Supervisor must be sufficiently experienced in reviewing and understanding architectural specifications for landscape, some building control inspections, public realm matters, architecturally specified materials. Awareness of the operation of NEC contracts and in quality control and assurance are required.
Preferred experience with Jetty, marine river walls, piers etc.
Marine/river landscaping and building works (intertidal terraces and planting)
