Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side Network Rail in Leeds to recruit an Assistant Project Manager to work on a 6 month contract.
As an Assistant Project Manager your responsibilities and duties may include:
The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering (GRIP 5-8) large multi-disciplinary projects within Network Rail. As part of the role, the candidate will be responsible for managing the Main Works Contractor and ensuring that all necessary designs are in place ahead of construction commencement.

Strong organisational and management skills are therefore a key requirement. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Network Rail processes within the delivery phase of a project, specifically relating to Delivering Work Within Possession, Common Safety Method for Risk Evaluation and Assessment and Access / Possession planning.

The ideal candidate must be flexible and able to react quickly to competing demands and changing priorities, all the time focusing on what is best for the Project to ensure that the tight delivery timescales are achieved.

Must be able to deliver multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects or parts of projects in a safe & environmentally responsible manner to time, cost and quality, in accordance with the Guide to Railway Investment Projects, applicable Network Rail company standards, current legislation and procedures including HMRI guidance where appropriate.

Provide a professional, consistent and effective project management service including the use of performance indicators and project reporting systems in accordance with Railway Group and Network Rail’s company standards and guidelines. Lead the development and delivery of change projects in compliance with company processes and procedures.
