Assistant Project Manager - To join a rail team supporting the delivery of key projects
Key Skills: Project engineering, Degree qualified, Consultancy Services

The Role:
Assistant Project Manager: you will be responsible for providing proactive support for the delivery of a portfolio of projects across the rail industry
The role will be based in Bristol, however willingness and ability to travel throughout the UK is required.

Duties include:
Supporting the Project Manager in leading the design team on multi-disciplinary projects
Attending Project Reviews as required, providing specialist contractual advice and direction
Participating in the design and delivery of training workshops
Taking responsibility for meeting program, cost and quality targets
Understanding of commercial, financial and programme management drivers
Ensuring compliance with relevant company systems throughout the bidding and project execution process
Being familiar with, and compliant with, relevant H & S regulations and promoting a culture of awareness within the team

The Candidate:
You will be degree qualified in relevant subject.
In addition you should have a professional services background i.e. have gained experience working for a Utilities or Engineering Consulting business.
You will have some prior project experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
Ability to work as part of a team and work to deadlines
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office applications
