Excellent permanent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in Yorkshire

The Role:
Our client requires an Assistant Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis for the Yorkshire office, providing support in the delivery of key frameworks and projects. You will be required to liaise with clients and contractors on a daily basis to enable effective management of projects. Key duties include:
• Feasibility Estimates
• Benchmarking
• Assessment of interim valuations
• Project Cash flow forecasting
• Contract Cash flow forecasting
• Assessment of Early Warning/Compensation/Variations etc
• Contract Administration
• Chair/attend Site Meetings
• Attend Design Workshops
• Final Accounting
• Production of Tender Documentation
• Tender Assessment
• Producing Contract Documentation

The Candidate:
You will have either PQS or Contractor QS experience.
Ideally you will have worked in the water industry, but alternatively Civils/Utilities.
You should have experience of using NEC3 ECC Standard Form of Contract (options A and C).

The Client:
Our client is the Lot 3 Auditor on the clients Asset Maintenance Service Framework, which is set up to deliver maintenance of assets on their Water and Wastewater Treatment sites. These works can be planned or reactive maintenance – this framework is managed from our clients Yorkshire office.
