Assistant Street Lighting Engineer: 12mth plus Contract; rate £Neg. Manchester
KEY Skills: Street Lighting, Electrical Engineering 

 


Assistant Street Lighting Engineer required for to join the clients team engaged on a variety of local Authority highway lighting schemes.

Duties will include:
Liaison with residents/Council colleagues / Depts. and the appointed Sub-Contractor on issues impacting on the performance and delivery of the contract including –
Maintenance issues - delays in repair response etc.
Resident / customer complaints
Trees (arborist team)
Highway works – Sect 38, 278, other developments – review of developers designs / as built / test certificate information prior to arrangement of Design Checks, Final Inspections etc.
Attachments – Homewatch plates etc.
Review of apparatus accrual / deaccrual proposals
Discuss and resolve day to day inventory anomalies
Use of CRM to analyse incoming queries / requests for additional street lights from stakeholders and customers.

The Candidate:
You will be qualified to ONC/HNC level in Electrical Engineering (preferred)

Knowledge and Experience of the street lighting industry at Asst Engineer level
Membership of Institution of Lighting Professionals (Associate Member or above) with demonstrable appropriate experience.
Knowledge of LED luminaire technology and Central Management Systems.
