The Client/Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Associate Mechanical Engineer - Building Services.
The Associate Mechanical Engineer will be part of the management team and will assist to strategically develop the M&E engineering capability, strengthening and expanding our client base  providing engineering management and local engineering design support to existing and new projects. 
The Associate Mechanical Engineer will also be required to lead the MEP team, be responsible for resourcing and personnel development, and to support the strategic growth of Gibraltar’s MEP capability. 
He or she will also contribute to our exciting range of projects in a variety of sectors including residential; hotels; sports and leisure, education, industrial; ports and marine; defence and commercial.

As the Associate Mechanical Engineer your duties may include:
Management of the M&E team;
Development of the M&E team and design capability;
Maintain, develop and strengthen existing Client relationships;
Provision of reactive M&E engineering design as required to support the M&E portfolio;
Design Management of existing and new cross-company multidisciplinary projects and contracts;
Project management of M&E projects;
Commercial management of the M&E portfolio;
Attendance to project meetings and sites.

The Candidate:
You will be a Associate Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years experience.
You will have a Building Services Consultancy background.
You should have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
You should be qualified to HND / Degree / Chartership level.
