The Role:
Our client is a national consultancy looking to recruit a CAD / BIM technician to work in Leeds.
As a BIM Modeller, you will create, develop and extract 2D information from the BIM level 2 models.
You will continually and carefully coordinate your work with the M&E designers and external parties such as architects, structural engineers and contractors.
Prepare and amend drawings on CAD to meet the requirements of schemes and projects within time, specification, quality, and objectives.
Undertake site surveys.
Maintain and update CAD/BIM capability.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced CAD / BIM technician and have several years work experience coming from a consultancy background.
You will be qualified to BTEC or equivalent leading to technical engineer.
You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of drawing office standards and procedures.
Have knowledge of time management and job monitoring.
Have the ability to use AutoCAD and/or Revit and other computer aids.
Understand and operate under ISO9001 and 14001 processes.
