Borer/Milling Machinist; 3 mth plus Contract; Leeds; c£16.0/ hour  (PAYE)

The Role:
A Horizontal Borer / Miller to work on Fanuc controlled milling machines producing low volume batch work to engineering drawings with minimum supervision. 
Due to a large order book the company requires additional staff and is currently looking for a CNC machining centre programmer/ operator/ setter

Duties 
Manufacture bespoke machines and spares, from engineering drawing, for sectors such as recycling, can making machines and filter making machines. 

The Candidate: 
Experience of working on conventional lathes/ milling/ horizontal boring machines would be beneficial as flexibility is required.
The applicant must be capable of producing Fanuc programs although the more complex components will be programmed off line and some training will be provided if necessary
Apprentice trained (Minimum Level 2 NVQ Diploma)
Must have engineering experience
