Excellent Long Term Contract opportunity for Bridge Assessment Engineer to work on a major Highway and Rail project; based 2 days from home and 3 days in office
KEY Skills; Bridge Engineer, Highways, Rail, Concrete, Steel, Assessment, Design

The Role:
Design calculations for bridge and retaining wall projects
Preparing contract documents using NEC forms of contract
General inspections of retaining walls
Bridge parapet replacement & bridge maintenance schemes
Feasibility studies for Highway and Rail structures schemes
Management and delivery of schemes to budget 
Liaison with clients, contractors and third parties
Project, programme and financial management
Supporting the day-to-day running of a team

The Candidate:
You will be comfortable in producing design calculations to visiting sites dealing with contractor queries to managing Principal Bridge Assessments+ General Inspections of structures.
BSc / MSc in Civil Structural Engineering
Chartered / near Chartered status (ICE or IStrucE) including considerable experience upon highway or rail structures / retaining walls / bridges experience.
